I have deleted the PPR this year. (point per reception) It's a default but I see the reason to get rid of it as a running back does not get a point for the hand off if he gets 0 yards. The "keeper" option was also deleted and we should be ready to auto draft once I know all are in. Going back and fourth between here and the evil fb, I think we may have most confirmed. Has anyone a way to contact Dan/Blitzed?

Word on the street in Dan is sitting out this year. We need a 10th for an even number. Anyone game?

I have no trouble with a team on a bye week each week.

I didn't know that would actually work. Not ideal but better than someone dropping out I suppose.

I can play if someone tells me the rules. I watch games, but typically am somewhat disengaged.

Except for the PACKERS n BEARS.

Kickers are SUPER-important. That's all you really need to know.

the rules .... fantasy football is hard to explain ... You choose a group of players .... from different positions on the field ... from that group you select a 'team' on about Wednesday ... you get points (or not) based on what the actual players actually do on game day ... you are in a head to head competition against someone else who has done the same ... at the end of Mondays game you or your opponent will have more points ... they are the winner ... you play every week ... eventually against all the other people playing in the group ... at the end of the 'season' the four players with the most wins play in a semi-final, then final round ... with the ultimate winner being whoever wins that last game! Essentially, you role as team owner is as team manager, deciding who to play each week, whether to drop a player if you think one of them is under performing, and replacing them with a player who doesn't already play for someone else that you think will do better that the guy you just dropped. If you covet your neighbours player, you can offer them a trade of players you already have. They might tell you to go to hell, but unlike coveting your actual neighbour, it won't happen.

Also, The most important thing is picking a cool name... And We auto draft. This means that our teams are chosen like dealing a hand of cards. We should all get some good, some not so good players. A mixed hand. We will give you guidance. I've been playing since pre internet when we had to manually calculate scores.... it's pretty easy now and no matter what ,,,,,, your best performing player will be on the bench and the one predicted (we will go into that later) to do well.... will suck. Right folks?

You like Packers vs Bears games but for whom do you actually cheer?

Not that it matters, as long as you're not a Chargers fan.

Dion summed it up pretty well. It's fairly simple to "run" a team on Yahoo. The site does a lot of the work!

Okay. So I signed in, but I don't know how to get back to the site for the game. If I was supposed to bookmark the page, I didn't.

Anyways, what do I do now?

Thanks for all help!

Can we have some time to update our draft lists before the auto-draft?
