I don't think fireworks were necessary last night just because they won - it's like living in redneck land minus the gunshots.

I have a question. I mean seeing as Tom Brady is 'God' and all. Could/would the Patriots still win so much without him?

No really.

Not this season. Their defense has been pretty poor all season.

This is a hard one. When he was injured during the first game of 2008, the Patriots went 11-5 without him. They missed the play offs due to tie breakers with, I think, the Dophins and Ravens. It is the only season to really look at, but the Pat's did all right without him that year.

I think the Patriots are clearly better with Brady than without him, but I also think they would have been okay without him.

I knew it would not be long before someone complained about the performers.

I thought Clarkson did a nice job with the anthem.

I didn't see her, I left the room while the two whiners were singing and didn't get back until after she was done.

Lip synced halftime shows are awesome.

I thought she did at the end when the stage blew up but it was all part of the act.

I thought it sounded lip synched but I didn't think they'd let someone get away with that at the halftime show.

lol, I guess it just seems like a career killer to do it. Then again, I'm not sure that Madonna has a career anymore....

It was a better spectacle than last year though.

I thought they were mainly lip synched. I will say that Madonna was surprisingly athletic for a woman her age.

The more people I talk to are saying that they are usually lip synced. I am really dumb when it comes to that as I said. Madonna looks amazing for her age no doubt. Though I never would have expected any less. I think it is amusing when people try and say she 'looks bad'.

I saw a clip of the video for her new song (that annoying self promoting thing she sang with Nikki Minaj) - gotta say she looks great and can still move, especially for her age.

Or a career killer if you can't sing anymore when hundreds of millions of people are watching.

I will say the dude on that tightrope was doing some amazing shit.

lol, I looked at him and thought "ouch". Although I imagine from a distance you couldn't see his tightrope and he probably just looked like he was floating or flying!
