Symptoms
Shingles
The signs and symptoms of shingles usually affect only a small section of one side of your body. These signs and symptoms may include:
Pain, burning, numbness or tingling
Sensitivity to touch
A red rash that begins a few days after the pain
Fluid-filled blisters that break open and crust over
Itching
Some people also experience:
Fever
Headache
Sensitivity to light
Fatigue
to address the pain, they prescribe tylenol, which I have been taking daily since my ankle surgery, so my pain wasn't especially bad ... actually, kinda used to pain because of my osteo, but I have the flu like symptoms as well ... or I have the flu. But probably the shingles, since I have head aches, fever and get tired. But the pain has mostly subsided the last 24 - 36 hours, so I think the anti-virals are working.
